Rich Peverley will not play tonight. Claude Julien said Peverley has a minor undisclosed injury. Peverley has not participated in the last three practices. Tonight will mark the first game Peverley will miss this season.

Benoit Pouliot will skate in Peverley’s spot on the third line. Jordan Caron and David Krejci could see time on the penalty kill in Peverley’s usual spot alongside Chris Kelly. Kelly could replace Peverley on the power play.

* Tuukka Rask will start tonight. Rask has yet to win a game.
