UNIONDALE, N.Y. – The Bruins have checked out of their Long Island hotel. They are en route to Montreal for tomorrow’s game against the Canadiens at the Bell Centre. They will not practice today.

With a 6-0 thumping of the Islanders last night, the Bruins are in seventh place with 22 points. They have won eight straight games.

“We’re pretty confident,” Patrice Bergeron said. “Last night was a perfect example of when we play our systems, play our game, and have a good transition, good things are going to happen. We have to keep that going. The next two games are huge games. We’ve got to worry about Montreal first.”

The Bruins haven’t lost since Oct. 29, when Montreal punted them out of Canada with a 4-2 loss.
