Brad Marchand named NHL First Star of the Week

Brad Marchand, who recorded his first career hat trick last Friday, has been named the NHL’s First Star of the Week. Marchand scored three of the Bruins’ eight goals in the 8-0 thumping of the Panthers on Friday. Marchand also recorded two assists in the win.

Last Monday, Marchand netted the game-winning goal in the Bruins’ 3-2 victory over Montreal.

Marchand now leads the team with 15 goals, one more than linemate Tyler Seguin.
