Final: Rangers win, 3-0.

10:01, third period, 3-0 Rangers: Seidenberg's shot appears initially to find the net, but replay confirms that it went just to the left of the pipe and got stuck in the netting. No goal.

2:53, third period, 3-0 Rangers: Artem Anisimov makes it a three-goal game with his 10th of the season, coming during 4-on-4 play. He had Del Zotto to his left on a 2-on-1 (Dennis Seidenberg back), but kept it himself and beat Thomas blocker side.

1:04, third period, 2-0 Rangers: Lucic and Brandon Prust yapping at each other as they make their way toward the bench, with Lucic getting in a little shove. That's enough for both to get sent off for unsportsmanlike conduct.

End of second period, 2-0 Rangers: Bruins outshot the Rangers, 14-6, that period, and really controlled the action. At this point, they'll take a positive anywhere they can find one.

17:40, second period, 2-0 Rangers: Lucic doesn't appreciate being shoved to the ground by Marc Staal, with Peverley quickly coming to his linemate's defense. Staal and Peverley sent to the box for roughing. Maybe the Bruins will have better luck 4-on-4.

15:32, second period, 2-0 Rangers: Thomas barely gets his glove on a blast by Brad Richards, just the third shot of the period by the Rangers. Bruins have carried the play here this period, but can't slip one past Lundqvist,

11:00, second period, 2-0 Rangers: Bruins are stringing together some great shifts, with Marchand and Lucic stoned by Lundqvist in a 60-second span.

8:05, second period, 2-0 Rangers: New York finally records a shot in the second period. Two, in fact, both turned away by Thomas. Brandon Dubinsky and Callahan both had close0in chances.

4:46, second period, 2-0 Rangers: First good chance in a while, it seems, for the Bruins, as Chara's shot was deflected in front but still stopped by Lundqvist. The way he's playing in goal, one goal might have been enough. Coming back from 2-0 down seems like an especially tough task.

19:48, first period, 2-0 Rangers: Fluky goal by Ryan McDonagh, who puts one on net and watches it ricochet off Zdeno Chara and past Thomas for the unexpected unassisted goal. Sums up the first period for the Bruins, who were sloppy defensively.

14:51, first period, 1-0 Rangers: Lundqvist turns another one away, this time Krejci near the crease after a great feed from Peverley.

10:09, first period, 1-0 Rangers: Ryan Callahan makes the Bruins pay for Chara's penalty, the recipient of great passes from Michael Del Zotto and Marian Gaborik. Thomas had no chance.

9:21, first period, 0-0: Chara, drilled from behind, gets sent off to the box for delay of game (closing his hand on the puck). First PP of the night.

4:33, first period, 0-0: Patrice Bergeron's wrister gloved by Lundqvist, who has faced more scoring chances so far than counterpart Tim Thomas.

2:00, first period, 0-0: Good one-time try by newly-extended Johnny Boychuk stopped by Henrik Lundqvist.

Pregame: Late-arriving Valentine's Day crowd at the TD Garden for a matchup between teams sitting first and second in the Eastern Conference standings. Last home game for the Bruins before a six-game road trip, which starts tomorrow in Montreal.
