BUFFALO – Good morning from the First Niagara Center, where the Bruins are looking to put together a winning streak tonight against the Sabres. Tim Thomas should get the nod in goal.

Records: Bruins 36-20-2, Sabres 26-27-7

Projected Bruins lineup:

Storylines: According to TSN, Kings captain Dustin Brown is available. Los Angeles acquired Jeff Carter yesterday for Jack Johnson and a first-round pick. Brown is right in Boston’s wheelhouse in terms of a Bruin-like player. The price would be considerable. The request would start with Dougie Hamilton, plus a pick and a prospect… The Bruins dropped a 6-0 decision to Buffalo during their last meeting. No doubt that will be atop Claude Julien’s list of reminders… Paul Devorski and Frederick L’Ecuyer will be the referees. Derek Nansen and Scott Cherrey will be the linesmen.
