Bruins looking for consistency in practice
WILMINGTON – The Bruins are on the ice for a late practice at Ristuccia Arena in preparation for Saturday’s matinee against Philadelphia.
The Bruins are in a four-game losing streak, the longest of their year.
“I don’t think it takes a genius to understand that it’s a little rattled right now,” Claude Julien said of his club’s confidence. “But at the same time, this is the majority of a group that showed resilience last year when we went through some tough times.”
It’s only practice, but based on the combinations, we could see Zdeno Chara and Dennis Seidenberg reunited for good. It remains one of the only hands Julien has yet to play.
Today’s lineup:
Milan Lucic-David Krejci-Jordan Caron
Brad Marchand-Patrice Bergeron-Tyler Seguin
Benoit Pouliot-Chris Kelly-Brian Rolston
Daniel Paille-Gregory Campbell-Shawn Thornton
Zdeno Chara-Dennis Seidenberg
Andrew Ference-Johnny Boychuk
Greg Zanon-Adam McQuaid
Mike Mottau-Joe Corvo
Tim Thomas
Marty Turco
* Rich Peverley skated for just under an hour before practice. Peverley (knee sprain) said he’s progressing well. This was his third day skating.
