UNIONDALE, N.Y. – Good morning from Nassau Coliseum, where the Bruins will start a two-game road swing this afternoon against the Islanders.

The Bruins have clinched a playoff spot. Pittsburgh beat Buffalo last night, which allowed the Bruins to make the playoffs for the fifth time in the last five years.

Adam McQuaid (eye) will not play today. Dennis Seidenberg (leg) could make his return after missing Thursday’s 3-2 shootout loss to the Islanders.

Marty Turco could get the nod today. Turco hasn’t played since last Sunday against Anaheim.

Puck drop: 1 p.m.

TV/radio info: NESN (Jack Edwards, Andy Brickley, Naoko Funayama),98.5 The Sports Hub (Dave Goucher, Bob Beers)

Records: Bruins 45-28-4, Islanders 33-33-11

Projected Bruins lineup:

Milan Lucic-David Krejci-Tyler Seguin
Brad Marchand-Patrice Bergeron-Rich Peverley
Benoit Pouliot-Chris Kelly-Brian Rolston
Jordan Caron-Gregory Campbell-Shawn Thornton

Zdeno Chara-Dennis Seidenberg
Andrew Ference-Johnny Boychuk
Greg Zanon-Joe Corvo

Marty Turco
Tim Thomas

Healthy scratches: Mike Mottau, Daniel Paille, Torey Krug

Storylines: Tyler Seguin will most likely start the game on the first line with Milan Lucic and David Krejci. Late in the last two games, Seguin and Rich Peverley have switched positions, resulting in goals both times… Kyle Okposo has five goals in his last four games. Hard to believe Okposo was a healthy scratch last time the Bruins were on the Island… Johnny Boychuk will appear in his 200th career game today… Old friend Milan Jurcina enters the game with a wicked minus-33. Only see those kinds of numbers in Siberia in mid-January… The Bruins will bus to Manhattan after today’s game.
