Rich Peverley feeling good after first morning skate
Rich Peverley participated in his first morning skate since suffering a right knee sprain on Feb. 15. Peverley didn’t take any contact during the session.
“Still on schedule,” Peverley said. “Just taking it day by day. I’m getting better. Good to be out with the team.”
Peverley will most likely practice on Tuesday with his teammates. Peverley will travel with the team on its three-game West Coast trip. Claude Julien termed Peverley as day-to-day. It’s possible Peverley could play sometime during the road swing.
* Joe Corvo will be the healthy scratch for the second straight game. Julien said Corvo is slightly banged up but otherwise classifies as a healthy scratch.
* Tim Thomas and James Reimer should be in goal.
