Tuukka Rask, out with a lower abdomen/groin strain suffered against the Islanders last Saturday, is most likely out for the rest of the regular season. But Rask is aiming to be healthy enough to back up Tim Thomas in the playoffs.

“It’s tough,” Rask said of the situation. “But the main thing is to get better and ready for the playoffs.”

Rask said he heard a snapping in his abdomen area when the injury took place. Rask is resting and icing the area now.
