WILMINGTON – Good morning from Ristuccia Arena, where the Bruins will hold the first of three practices in preparation for Game 1 on Thursday against the Capitals.

Tuukka Rask is on the ice before practice. Rask is working with goaltending coach Bob Essensa. It's not determined whether Rask will be available for Game 1.

Johnny Boychuk is also skating under the watch of strength and conditioning coach John Whitesides. This is the first time Boychuk has skated since he suffered a left knee sprain against Pittsburgh last Tuesday.

Today’s lineup:

Milan Lucic-David Krejci-Rich Peverley
Brad Marchand-Patrice Bergeron-Tyler Seguin
Benoit Pouliot-Chris Kelly-Brian Rolston
Daniel Paille/Jordan Caron-Gregory Campbell-Shawn Thornton

Zdeno Chara-Dennis Seidenberg
Andrew Ference-Johnny Boychuk
Greg Zanon-Joe Corvo
Mike Mottau

Tim Thomas
Anton Khudobin
Tuukka Rask

* Adam McQuaid is not present.

Some brief notes from the season series:

* Tomas Vokoun started all four games. In 198 minutes of play, Vokoun went 2-1-0 with a 2.73 GAA and a .911 save percentage. Vokoun injured his groin during his last start against the Bruins on March 29. Vokoun’s status for Game 1 is unknown.

* Brad Marchand (3-2—5) and Patrice Bergeron (0-5—5) led the team in scoring. Mathieu Perreault (3-1—4) and Marcus Johansson (2-2—4) paced the Capitals. Perreault scored a hat trick in a Jan. 24 5-3 Washington win at the Verizon Center.

* There was only one fight: Adam McQuaid vs. Matt Hendricks.
