The Bruins are going through their final practice prior to Game 1 on Thursday. Defenseman Adam McQuaid (eye/head) is absent for the third straight session. It’s likely that McQuaid will not be available for Game 1. Joe Corvo is projected to replace McQuaid.

UPDATE: Claude Julien has confirmed McQuaid will not play in Game 1. Julien does not expect Tuukka Rask to be available for Game 1. Anton Khudobin will back up Tim Thomas is Rask isn't ready to dress.

Julien is optimistic that Johnny Boychuk (knee) will be available for the start. Boychuk has made it through all three practices without limitations.

Today’s lineup:

Milan Lucic-David Krejci-Rich Peverley
Brad Marchand-Patrice Bergeron-Tyler Seguin
Benoit Pouliot-Chris Kelly-Brian Rolston
Daniel Paille/Jordan Caron-Gregory Campbell-Shawn Thornton

Zdeno Chara-Dennis Seidenberg
Andrew Ference-Johnny Boychuk
Greg Zanon-Joe Corvo
Mike Mottau

Tim Thomas
Anton Khudobin
Tuukka Rask

* For the second straight practice, the Bruins are going through power-play work. Same units as Tuesday.
