WASHINGTON – With Nicklas Backstrom suspended for Game 4 because of his high-sticking penalty on Rich Peverley, the Bruins will be facing a different lineup.

Backstrom had been centering Washington’s No. 2 line between Marcus Johansson and Alexander Semin. Backstrom scored the overtime winner in Game 2. Backstrom is the right-side half-wall man on Washington’s primary power-play unit.

Ex-Bruin Mike Knuble could make his series debut. Knuble has been a healthy scratch for the first three games of the series.

* The Bruins will practice at 1 p.m. today at Kettler Capitals Iceplex in Arlington, Va.
