RALEIGH – Good morning from PNC Arena, where the Bruins will play the Hurricanes tonight. It’s possible that Anton Khudobin could make his season debut. Tuukka Rask has started the last four games.

Adam McQuaid will not play tonight. McQuaid has been excused for a personal reason. Aaron Johnson will replace McQuaid. McQuaid is expected to play against New Jersey tomorrow at TD Garden.

Healthy scratch: Lane MacDermid

Storylines: This will be Dougie Hamilton’s fifth NHL game. Once Hamilton makes his sixth NHL appearance, it will count as Year 1 on his three-year entry-level contract. Safe to say that will take place, and that Hamilton’s junior career is over… Tyler Seguin is looking for his first goal of the season. Meanwhile, former youth hockey teammate Jeff Skinner has found the back of the net in three straight games… Carolina is averaging a league-high 39.5 shots per game… The Bruins are perfect on the penalty kill through four games… The Bruins will get their first look at former teammate Joe Corvo, better known as the eternal Hurricane… Dan O’Rourke and Frederick L’Ecuyer will be the referees. Bryan Pancich and Pierre Racicot will be the linesmen.
