Adam McQuaid out vs. Carolina
Defenseman Adam McQuaid was not on the ice Sunday morning with the Bruins at Ristuccia Arena. Coach Claude Julien said it was due to personal reasons, not injury. McQuaid will not travel with the team to Carolina and will miss the game against the Hurricanes, but is expected back for the game on Tuesday.
Aaron Johnson is expected to play in his absence. Johnson also saw ice time with Dennis Seidenberg out for two games with a lower body injury.
