Bruins-Lightning game postponed
The Bruins' game against Tampa Bay at 7 p.m. tonight at TD Garden has been postponed. No makeup date has been announced.
All Bruins players live within walking distance of the Garden. Coaches and staff stayed at a local hotel last night. The Lightning arrived in Boston late Friday night.
However, because of the travel ban (lifting at 4 p.m.) and MBTA shutdown, it was determined that Garden workers would not be able to arrive in time for the game.
The Bruins are scheduled to fly to Buffalo tonight. They play the Sabres tomorrow at 7 p.m.
