Bruins emphasize wall work in practice
SUNRISE, Fla. – The Bruins have completed their practice prior to tomorrow’s afternoon game against the Panthers. They did not make any lineup changes. Tuukka Rask should get the start against Florida.
In today’s practice, the Bruins emphasized stronger wall work. Upon studying recent video, Claude Julien said the coaches have noticed some slackness in the Bruins’ board play in the defensive zone.
“Too many times, we get rid of the puck instead of making strong plays or eating it,” Julien said. “So we’re addressing that right now.”
Today’s practice lineup:
Milan Lucic-David Krejci-Nathan Horton
Brad Marchand-Patrice Bergeron-Tyler Seguin
Chris Bourque/Jay Pandolfo-Chris Kelly-Rich Peverley
Daniel Paille/Lane MacDermid-Gregory Campbell-Shawn Thornton
Zdeno Chara-Johnny Boychuk
Dennis Seidenberg-Dougie Hamilton
Andrew Ference-Adam McQuaid
Aaron Johnson
Tuukka Rask
Anton Khudobin
