Jamie Tardif assigned, Lane MacDermid on conditioning loan

The Bruins have assigned Jamie Tardif to Providence. Tardif appeared in two games during his recall.

Lane MacDermid has been assigned to Providence on a conditioning loan. Providence plays tonight against Portland at home.

Aaron Johnson reported to Providence in hopes of playing tonight. But Johnson will not be needed. Johnson will be back in Boston and should be the healthy scratch against the Rangers tomorrow.

Tyler Seguin was given a maintenance day.
