THIRD PERIOD

All over at First Niagara Center. Bruins with second regulation loss of season.

11:45 -- Sabres 4, Bruins 2 -- Hodgson with deflection at left post off Myers feed. Even strength.

9:02 -- Sabres 3, Bruins 2 -- Ehrhoff strikes from open slot, with Seidenberg and Hamilton late to come back from rear wall. Even strength goal.

2:03 -- Sabres 2, Bruins 2 -- Myers cleans up with backhand lift after Khudobin stops a 2-on-1 bid. Even strength. Boychuk lone defenseman back.

SECOND PERIOD

End 40:00. Boston, 2-1. Bruins with 17-6 shot lead for period. Sabrezzz falling asleep, booed as they head off for intermission.

Dumb play by Ott, caugh for interference, wipes out 1:37 of Sabres power play after Bruins nabbed for too many men on ice.

11:45 -- Miller glove save robs Seguin on rebound attempt.

2:29 -- Bruins 2, Sabres 1 -- Peverley pops home forehander from doorstep after Hamilton blast from right point ricochets to him off rear wall. Even strength. Bruins with 15-10 shot lead.


FIRST PERIOD

First 20:00 in books. Tied, 1-1. Bruins with 12-10 shot advantage.

17:56 -- Bruins 1, Sabres 1 -- Hamilton drills home 30-foot one-timer, high inner edge of RW circle, off dish from Krejci. PPG with Stafford in penalty box. First career goal for Hamilton.


Peverley and Kelly good rush at 10:43, can't cash in on Miller. Sabres still with 1-0 lead.

3:24 -- Sabres 1, Bruins 0 -- Stafford easy forehand stuff at top of crease off feed from behind net by Ennis. Sabres with 4-2 shot lead. Boston never trailed in win here on Sunday.
