Milan Lucic out against Winnipeg
WINNIPEG – Milan Lucic will not play tomorrow against Winnipeg. Lucic has returned to Boston to address a personal matter. Lucic traveled with the team from Buffalo to Winnipeg this morning. Lucic was at MTS Iceplex, the Jets' practice facility, briefly before leaving for the airport.
Lucic has been one of the team’s most consistent forwards. Lucic has three goals and five assists through 12 games. The No. 1 left wing had a handful of scoring chances in last night’s loss to Buffalo.
With Lucic unavailable, Rich Peverley practiced in his spot on the No. 1 line. Peverley will most likely remain there for tomorrow’s game.
Jay Pandolfo practiced on the fourth line. Pandolfo will make his Bruins debut tomorrow. Pandolfo was a healthy scratch last night. The left wing signed his one-year, $600,000 contract on Tuesday.
Tomorrow's lineup:
Rich Peverley-David Krejci-Nathan Horton
Brad Marchand-Patrice Bergeron-Tyler Seguin
Daniel Paille-Chris Kelly-Chris Bourque
Jay Pandolfo-Gregory Campbell-Shawn Thornton
Zdeno Chara-Johnny Boychuk
Dennis Seidenberg-Dougie Hamilton
