THIRD PERIOD

Final Bruins, 3-1. Three wins in a row.

19:11 -- Bruins 3, Sabres 1 -- Lucic pops forehander into empty net.

7:52 -- Bruins 2, Sabres 1 -- Bergeron connects on power play with wrister from inside edge of left wing circle. Bourque initiates with shot up high that bounces into slot off rear boards. First PPG in 5 games for Bruins.

7:24 -- Sabres delay of game. Bruins again on power play.

Underway.

SECOND PERIOD


18:01 -- Sabres 1, Bruins 1 -- Ennis left alone in front, pops in wrister high over Khudobin. Defenseman Seidenberg, Hamilton caught behind goal line.

Weber off, Bruins again on PP at 15:41. Still with 1-0 lead.

Sabres on power play at 10:32, Marchand caught for faceoff violation. What next, dress code?

7:10 -- Bruins 1, Sabres 0 -- Marchand with wrister from left wing faceoff dot after he collects short dish from Ference. Horton in front provides screen. Bruins with 24-14 shot ledad.

Bruins with pressure on PP, but still can't dent Miller. No score with 6:43 gone. Boston power play remains risible.

Lots of Buffalo penalties. Boston with 5-on-3 PP for 1:19 at 3:24. Still no score.

FIRST PERIOD

End 20:00, 0-0.

Period comes to close with Hodgson dumping Kelly into net with slash. Bruins will open second period with PP for 1:57.

Still scoreless with 11:00 gone.

8:59 -- Kaleta smokes Campbell with a few lefthands in tussle along boards. Clear victory for Kaleta. Campbell to room, tagged with 2-5-10 for instigating the fight. Kaleta only gets the 5.

Khudobin turns back Hecht backhand from right wing dot at 8:10. Bruins up on shots, 11-7.

Thornton, Scott each on ice for three shifts without incident.

Bruins with 5-2 shot lead at 5:00 mark.

Khudobin in net for Bruins: confirmed.
