All done at the Bell Centre. New first line comes through. Bruins started poorly, finished strong.

14:30 3d period, Bruins 2-1: David Desharnais with game-tying bid in front. Goes wide left with deflection. Very close.

13:39 3d period, Bruins 2-1: Gregory Campbell in discomfort on the bench. Takes his lumps.

2:05 3d period, Bruins 2-1: Two shifts for new first line. Two goals. This time David Krejci goes to net, tips in Milan Lucic feed. New first line is flying.

0:14 3d period, 1-1: Tyler Seguin replaces Nathan Horton on first line. Pays off immediately. Seguin goes to net, cashes in David Krejci dish.

20:00 2d period, Canadiens 1-0: Better execution by Bruins in second period. Not as many chances for Canadiens. But Bruins still not getting anything resembling decent looks on Carey Price. Easy night for the Montreal goalie.

14:09 2d period, Canadiens 1-0: Habs playing like Rangers. Filling every shooting lane.

10:53 2d period, Canadiens 1-0: Nearing end of PP, P.K. Subban with blast from right point. Looks like it ticked off Rich Peverley’s blade.

8:26 2d period, 0-0: Lane MacDermid to the room.

7:23 2d period, 0-0: Nice backcheck by Gregory Campbell. Busts up cross-ice pass to Brandon Prust. Would have been a scoring chance.

5:49 2d period, 0-0: At least a few decent chances on this PP. Tyler Seguin with a close-range shot off Carey Price’s glove.

3:53 2d period, 0-0: Tomas Plekanec on clear-cut breakaway. Loses puck trying to go forehand. Or he was trying to pass to Scott Gomez.

2:54 2d period, 0-0: Bruins without two important PK forwards in Daniel Paille and Brad Marchand. So far, four forwards taking most PP shifts: Patrice Bergeron, Chris Kelly, Rich Peverley, Gregory Campbell.

0:22 2d period, 0-0: First good chance for Bruins. David Krejci in tight.

20:00 1st period, 0-0: Canadiens with 11-4 shot advantage after 20 minutes. Bruins very tentative on power play. Afraid to make mistakes.

18:53 1st period, 0-0: Two power plays for Bruins. Zero shots total.

16:53 1st period, 0-0: Fourth line draws a hooking penalty. Good work by the grinders. Let’s see if the power play cashes in (snicker).

10:56 1st period, 0-0: Bruins still without a shot.

9:49 1st period, 0-0: Breakaway for Lars Eller. Right pad kickout by Tuukka Rask. Canadiens with four glittering chances so far. Rask dynamite.

3:51 1st period, 0-0: Terrific opportunity for Tomas Plekanec on odd-man rush. Nearly tucks it inside right post.

1:11 1st period, 0-0: Great chance for Colby Armstrong. Adam McQuaid caught up ice on two-on-one. Armstrong goes wide right.

0:38 1st period, 0-0: Bleep You, Boston chant at the Bell Centre.

0:00 1st period, 0-0: Brad Marchand out. Ryan Spooner in. Aaron Johnson healthy scratch.
