Game 24: Bruins at Penguins preview
Chris Kelly injured his left knee in Monday night’s second period after colliding with ex-teammate Chris Neil. Kelly didn’t return. Kelly traveled to Pittsburgh with the team.
The Bruins have not called up a center from Providence. Assuming Kelly is out against the Penguins, Rich Peverley could move to center from right wing. Either Jay Pandolfo or Lane MacDermid, both healthy scratches last night, would dress.
Puck drop: 7:30 p.m.

Storylines: Kelly is one of the team’s go-to penalty killers. Pandolfo could assume some of Kelly’s shorthanded shifts… Kris Letang has 11 assists in his last five games. Letang is arguably the East’s sharpest puck-moving defenseman… Sidney Crosby has 20 points in his last eight games. There is no argument about Crosby being the game’s best player… The Penguins have the league’s third-best power play (25.7 percent)… Chris Rooney and Frederick L’Ecuyer will be the referees. Brian Murphy and Tony Sericolo will be the linesmen.
