Pittsburgh has acquired Jarome Iginla from Calgary. The Penguins traded their 2013 first-round pick along with prospects Ben Hanowski and Kenny Agostino for the Calgary captain.

TSN reported that the Bruins had completed the deal for Iginla. But Calgary preferred Pittsburgh's offer.

The Bruins must now look to secondary targets, such as San Jose's Ryane Clowe.
