Ryan Spooner, recalled from Providence yesterday, will center Milan Lucic and Nathan Horton on the team’s power line. During the morning skate, Spooner took line rushes in David Krejci’s usual spot between the two hulking wingmen.

Claude Julien said he could change his lineup during the game depending on the situation. But to start, Spooner will be in a top-six role. During his other recall, Spooner centered the fourth line between Lane MacDermid and Jamie Tardif.

“I think it’s a great opportunity for Spoons to take,” Julien said. “We’ll see where he goes with that. If it doesn’t work out, we can always make some changes. We’ve seen him play enough that we know he can probably be a good fit there.”

* Krejci has yet to skate since suffering his right leg injury on Sunday. Krejci has been riding the stationary bike, Julien said. Krejci left the skate with a slight limp.

Tonight’s expected lineup:

Milan Lucic-Ryan Spooner-Nathan Horton
Brad Marchand-Patrice Bergeron-Tyler Seguin
Jay Pandolfo-Rich Peverley-Jordan Caron
Daniel Paille-Gregory Campbell-Shawn Thornton

Zdeno Chara-Johnny Boychuk
Dennis Seidenberg-Dougie Hamilton
Andrew Ference-Adam McQuaid

Tuukka Rask
Anton Khudobin
