All done in Boston. Brendan Gallagher with the only shootout goal. Big-time rally for Canadiens.

5:00 OT, 5-5: Shootout time. Bruins can’t punch through on OT power play.

20:00 3d period, 5-5: Gutsy rally by Canadiens. Big point. Another multi-goal third-period lead goes poof.

19:51 3d period, 5-5: Deflection in front. Looked like Brendan Gallagher tips Andrei Markov shot past Tuukka Rask.

12:52 3d period, Bruins 5-4: Great chance for Nathan Horton in front. Peter Budaj slams door with left pad.

12:18 3d period, Bruins 5-4: Brendan Gallagher’s first shot off Dennis Seidenberg’s face. Second shot goes past Tuukka Rask. No quit in these Canadiens.

11:50 3d period, Bruins 5-3: Tyler Seguin pulls backhand, goes up high on Peter Budaj. Crisp pass from Brad Marchand. That might be enough of a cushion against tired Habs.

9:16 3d period, Bruins 4-3: Shorthanded chance for Gregory Campbell. Peter Budaj with his biggest save yet.

3:58 3d period, Bruins 4-3: Michael Ryder with his second of the night. Money on two-on-one rush. Nice dish by Tomas Plekanec.

0:00 3d period, Bruins 4-2: Peter Budaj in. Carey Price out.

20:00 2d period, Bruins 4-2: Dominant four-goal period for the Bruins. Complete control of neutral zone after first goal. Held 17-5 shot advantage in second. Bruins should expect one last push from Canadiens in third.

17:36 2d period, Bruins 4-2: Canadiens cough up puck in neutral zone. Leads to odd-man rush for David Krejci and Nathan Horton. Krejci sends cross-ice dish. Horton finds back of net. Top six rolling for Bruins.

17:01 2d period, Bruins 3-2: Bruins break through on PP. Long cycle for Bruins, with Josh Gorges breaking stick and taking Jeff Halpern’s twig. Torey Krug’s shot doesn’t get through, but Patrice Bergeron buries rebound.

13:55 2d period, 2-2: Brad Marchand on breakaway. Touch pass from Patrice Bergeron. Carey Price gets a piece of his glove on shot.

13:24 2d period, 2-2: Bruins pushing hard. Montreal looking like team playing second road game in two nights.

7:23 2d period, 2-2: Brad Marchand lifts first backhander over net. Gets own rebound and tucks in second chance.

3:32 2d period, Canadiens 2-1: Dougie Hamilton with a timely goal. Tyler Seguin hits post on first rush. Finds own rebound and hits Hamilton in front. Hamilton buries his followup attempt.

2:53 2d period, Canadiens 2-0: P.K. Subban cans long-distance one-timer. Nice screen by Colby Armstrong. Torey Krug on ice for both Montreal goals.

0:44 2d period, Canadiens 1-0: Daniel Paille back down to fourth line. Brad Marchand with usual linemates.

20:00 1st period, Canadiens 1-0: Bruins tightened up defensively after giving up some very good looks early. Not many quality scoring chances at other end, though.

12:07 1st period, Canadiens 1-0: Money save by Carey Price. Blocker save on Brad Marchand to turn back two-on-one.

11:38 1st period, Canadiens 1-0: Gregory Campbell vs. Travis Moen. Even scrap. Came after an extended chat between David Krejci and Andrei Markov.

10:03 1st period, Canadiens 1-0: So far, not much in Bruins’ legs. Canadiens far livelier.

7:36 1st period, Canadiens 1-0: Bruins yet to put puck on goal.

4:15 1st period, Canadiens 1-0: Michael Ryder with plenty of time to lock and load in front. Makes no mistake.

1:10 1st period, 0-0: Tuukka Rask under siege early. Turns back two-on-one. Had to stop Michael Ryder in opening minute.

0:00 1st period, 0-0: Torey Krug in. Matt Bartkowski out. Johnny Boychuk (right leg) to injured reserve. Out for third straight game.
