Watch: Kaspars Daugavins' unusual shootout attempt stopped by Tuukka Rask
The unusual shootout attempt made by Ottawa Senators winger Kaspars Daugavins is getting a lot of attention this morning after the Bruins beat the Senators 3-2 in a sudden death shootout Monday night in Ottawa.
Watch the video above and see how Daugavins' risky move ended up costing his team the game.
In response to why he tried the move, Daugavins said, "I've done before in the American League once, so it was unlucky ... It sucks to not score that."
