Bruins wear law enforcement hats in warmups
Prior to pregame warmups, the Bruins left their helmets in the dressing room. They wore Massachusetts State Police, Boston Police, and Watertown Police hats to recognize the work of law enforcement in the wake of Monday’s Boston Marathon attacks.
Prior to this season, Bruins management had made helmet wear mandatory during warmups.
Tuukka Rask and Anton Khudobin wore their masks for protective purposes.
