THIRD PERIOD

Done here at The Rock. Bruins hold on, win for fifth time in last six games.

19:23 -- Bruins 5, Devils 4 -- D'Agostini pops in forehander at top of crease with Brodeur out of NJ net.

5:00 to go. Bruins still with a two-goal lead.


7:33 -- Bruins 5, Devils 3 -- Seguin with No. 13, provides a bit of breathing room. Paille, Seidenberg helpers.

5:58 -- Bruins 4, Devils 3 -- Greene nails in wrister from left wing faceoff dot. Bruins have gone from swimming, to treading water, to sinking. Fast.

Caron skating in Marchand's spot on Campbell-Jagr line.

Period ends with Boston lead down to 4-2. Devils with 18;12 shot lead. Boston with troubles generating flow to attack.

18:12 -- Bruins 4, Devils 2 -- Zajac shorty, unassisted. Slowy the Devils creeping back.

Volchenkov tossed for the night after hit to head sends Marchand to room. Marchand wobbly. Not likely to return.

11:07 -- Bruins 4, Devils 1 -- Elias finally gets Devs on board. Help from Sullivan.

Midway through second, Bruins still with 4-0 lead. Devs nearly get first at 8:40 when Loktionov backhand goes crossbar.

FIRST PERIOD

Period ends with Rock crowd booing Devils. Bruins, 3-0. Devs post 12-8 shot lead. Wide margin in shooting self in foot.

Bruins beat Brodeur with 3 of first 7 shots. Once upon a time, he didn't allow them three goals in a playoff series.
