Bruins forward Patrice Bergeron was named one of the three finalists for the Frank J. Selke Trophy, which goes to the NHL's best defensive forward.

Bergeron won the Selke last season. Pavel Datsyuk of the Red Wings and Jonathan Toews of the Blackhawks are the other finalists. The award is voted by the Professional Hockey Writers' Association.

Bergeron had 32 points in the 2012-2013 season, led the NHL in faceoff win percentage (62.1), and was sixth in the NHL in plus/minus rating at plus-24.
