WILMINGTON – Brad Marchand, banged up in last night’s 4-1 win over Buffalo, didn’t practice today at Ristuccia Arena. But Marchand will travel to Nashville with the team this afternoon and be available to play against the Predators tomorrow.

Daniel Paille (concussion) practiced in Marchand’s spot on the second line. Paille has not been cleared for game play. Paille will not join the team on its road trip.

* Adam McQuaid (lower body) is possible to play tomorrow. McQuaid was one of seven defensemen practicing today.

* Dougie Hamilton (lower body) didn’t practice. Hamilton went on the ice for solo work with strength and conditioning coach John Whitesides. Hamilton could be out for another two weeks based on original estimates.

* Loui Eriksson (concussion) was at Ristuccia for treatment. Eriksson is feeling well enough to be around his teammates. Eriksson had been more comfortable at home initially because of post-concussion syndrome.

Today’s practice lineup:

Milan Lucic-David Krejci-Jarome Iginla
Daniel Paille-Patrice Bergeron-Reilly Smith
Carl Soderberg-Ryan Spooner-Matt Fraser
Jordan Caron-Gregory Campbell-Nick Johnson

Zdeno Chara-Torey Krug
Matt Bartkowski-Dennis Seidenberg
David Warsofsky-Johnny Boychuk
Adam McQuaid

Tuukka Rask
Chad Johnson
