WILMINGTON – There were some good signs for the Bruins at Ristuccia Arena on Monday – Loui Eriksson and Carl Soderberg were on the ice before the full team practice. For Eriksson it is the first time that we know of that he has skated since Dec. 7, when he sustained his second concussion in 45 days.

Soderberg did not make the trip to Ottawa with the team on Saturday after banging his head into the glass, resulting in concussion-like symptoms. He stayed on the ice longer than Eriksson this morning. If he cannot play in Tuesday's game against the Islanders, the Bruins would have to call up another forward. They have only 11 healthy (and active) players at the moment.

There were other new faces on the ice. Dougie Hamilton skated with the team for the first time since his lower-body injury on Dec. 8. Zdeno Chara, who also missed Saturday's game in Ottawa with an undisclosed injury, was also on the ice.

Kevan Miller was called up this morning on an emergency basis, and is practicing with the team
