WILMINGTON – The Bruins recalled defenseman David Warsofsky on Monday. Warsofsky was on the ice this morning with the team at Ristuccia Arena.

The team will be without Zdeno Chara for two games this week, with the captain heading to Sochi, Russia, early to be the flag bearer for Slovakia at the opening ceremonies. He will be with the team for Tuesday's game against Vancouver, but will miss games at St. Louis on Thursday and against Ottawa on Saturday.

Adam McQuaid was not on the ice this morning, though coach Claude Julien said he had been making progress and working out. McQuaid will return as soon as he is back to 100 percent, but it is not clear whether he could be back before the Olympic break.

Warsofsky has played in four games for the Bruins this season, and has scored one goal.
