WILMINGTON – Justin Florek and Matt Lindblad were two new faces at Friday’s Bruins practice at Ristuccia Arena. Florek and Lindblad replaced Craig Cunningham and Alexander Khokhlachev, who were assigned to Providence after practicing with the Bruins Thursday.

Florek was recalled earlier this season to play on the fourth line. This was Lindblad’s first NHL recall. Lindblad would have been a senior at Dartmouth this season, but he decided to turn pro after last year.

Eleven forwards and six defensemen practiced. Reilly Smith did not practice because he was sick.

“Today, you may have seen a little more rust,” said assistant coach Doug Houda. “Yesterday, everybody was excited to get back. Today was a little more rust. But the battle drills help.”

The Bruins concluded practice in time to settle in for the US-Canada semifinal game.

Today’s practice lineup:

Milan Lucic-Matt Lindblad-Jarome Iginla
Brad Marchand-Carl Soderberg-Justin Florek
Daniel Paille-Chris Kelly-Brad Marchand
Jordan Caron-Gregory Campbell-Shawn Thornton

Matt Bartkowski-Johnny Boychuk
Torey Krug-Dougie Hamilton
Kevan Miller-Adam McQuaid

Chad Johnson
