Bruins history in the conference finals
1976: Flyers get to the Cup
The Flyers beat the Bruins in what would be the first of three straight conference finals matchups, with the Bruins taking the next two. Philadelphia won this one in five. The Flyers lost Game 1 but reeled off four straight, including Game 2 in overtime. The Bruins were led in the playoffs by 35-year-old center Jean Ratelle who had 16 points in 12 games between the Flyers series and a seven-game series in the first round against the Kings.
