Tecmo Bowl just didn’t have anything left in the tank. After an epic battle against Madden, Tecmo Bowl was defeated by the tournament dark horse, NHL '94. This was reminiscent of the Yankees in the 2003 ALCS. After an all-out war with the Red Sox, they were physically and emotionally drained, and were consequently rolled over by the upstart Marlins in the World Series. Splitting the football vote sealed TB’s fate and NHL 94’ will be representing the four major sports in the tournament’s final round.
