The Boston Athletic Association is holding a free clinic for official marathon entrants Monday night (March 22) on "Diet, Nutrition, and Course Preview" at Marathon Sports, 671 Boylston St., Boston (the one near the finish line). Brett Ely, who is a three-time Women's Marathon Olympic Trials qualifier, winner of the 2010 Miami Marathon, and a dietitian, will provide nutrition and diet tips. BAA coaches will talk about strategies for the course.

- Rich 'Shifter' Horgan is a 19-time Dana-Farber Marathon Challenge team member who runs in honor of his father, who died of colon cancer. He will provide updates on local running events with a focus on the charitable organizations that provide Boston Marathon entries for their organization's fund raising purposes
