Before the marathon comes the schwag-a-thon.

There was no limit to the freebies at the Sports & Fitness Expo at the Hynes Convention Center. Drink samples (I'm certain Odwalla means yummy in pretty much any language), food samples (including real steak that likely tempted a few vegans to go the other way!), and product samples (any runner with a tight hammy will love Salonpas) are the staples by which merchants lure you to their booths. Thousands of runners left with bags filled with goodies.

Then there are those products that are unique enough to stop you for a second look. Amid the countless booths filled with running shoes, running clothes, health foods, energy foods, and race organizers trying to attract you to their event, are some things just a little more interesting.

Watch the video to find out what we learned about a few products that kind of sold themselves.
