Many runners at the Athletes' village in Hopkinton were wrapping plastic bags around themselves to stay warm in the early morning hours prior to the start of the 115th Boston Marathon.

It was cold and windy as the runners began arriving, although temperatures have risen along with the sun.

We'll have more from the start later.
