Mark your calendars. The Boston Athletic Association is allowing those interested in all of its Distance Medley events — a 5K (April 19), 10K (June 22), and half-marathon (Oct. 12) — to register for all three at the same time during a one-week period. That window will be 10 a.m. Wednesday through 5 p.m. Jan. 29.

"[The series] offers a unique and competitive series for both recreational and professional runners,” BAA executive director Tom Grilk said in a news release. “Many recreational runners who are making their training and racing plans in 2014 will look to this series, which provides three races progressively increasing in distance during the course of the year."

Participants who finish all three races receive a special commemorative medal. The registration cost is $200.
