2008 Boston Marathon: Getting to the starting line

Tara Reed, 25, and Amy Bensle, 28, both of Brighton, are running their first marathon today. They bumped into their friend Eissa Shively, 27, of New York City, in line for the buses. Shively started racing at an early age; she's running her 15th marathon today. All three woman are running with Team In Training for the Leukemia & Lymphoma Society.
