2008 Boston Marathon: Women's finish

Dire Tune kissed the ground after winning the women's division of the Boston Marathon, as Alevtina Biktimirova finished second. Tune said she was determined to win Boston. She credited Biktimirova with running a strong race. Biktimirova said Tune has better track credentials, and even though she wanted to win Boston badly, she just couldn't hold on at the very end.
