Do Patriots coordinators Romeo Crennel and Charlie Weis have a shot at landing a head coach position next year or will they be back with the Patriots?

So long as Weiss gets hired and the Pats can find a competent OC, everything will be all right. Crenel deserves a job, but I'd love to see him stay right here...

I think the deeper we go into the playoffs the more likely it is that we will lose one but not both of them. Of the coaching jobs available (or once): The Giants got Coughlin, the Skins got Gibbs (which I loved), the Cards got Green... which leaves Fassel out there and vacancies with the Bills, Bears, Falcons, and the Raiders with the Bears leaning heavy towards luring out Saban... I believe one of our men will be the best man for one of those jobs and if we were one-and-done maybe more... but because you can't hire a coach on a team thats still dancing I'd say if we're Bowl Bound they maybe waiting til next year...

Mark, Quincy

I think the defensive coordinator is the best in the business, but the Patriots' offense reflects the work of Weis, which needs a LOT of work. I don't think he's head coach material but should be replaced anyway.

Yes they will be back with the Pats

They are both very talented. I hope they come back because Bill needs both but I think they will be gone.

No, Crennel and Weis will not be back next year, and we will fall victim to their success. No one can fault them if they do decide to go for the brass ring; they've certainly earned it!

It appears that many of the job openings, Redskins (Gibbs), Bills (Fassel), Giants (Coughlin) and Cardinals (Green) have been or will be filled. I think it's more likely that Scott Pioli (sp) will move elsewhere at this point.

If the Patriots win the Super Bowl I would not be surprised to see them become head coach of another team. If the Patriots don't win the Super Bowl I think they will remain to try and win another.

This coaching staff has been great the past few seasons and was rewarded with a surprise Superbowl ring over the superpower St.Louis Rams. Providing we win it all this year(we should,) I believe a handful of teams will be willing to flash Crennel and Weis a fistfull of cash to steal them from the Pats hoping to get their team a ring too. I doubt we will be able to match the offers to keep them both. And these guys don't get into coaching to be just the O or D coach, they want Billys position. If a head coach position comes along, we will be waving good bye and checking the waiver wire.
