Homer, what are you thinking?
Indianapolis Star sports columnist Bob Kravitz says "Football America" wants and needs a Colts vs. Eagles Super Bowl. He says "we've done the New England thing, and, frankly, we're bored to tears."
Page 1 What I say to him is this. We beat the Eagles, Titans, Broncos, Cowboys and the Colts in the regular season. All playoff teams. We deserve to not only be here, but to win it all. Frank, Everett The Colts have had their fun playing the Broncos who played dead and the Chiefs who were 4-4 the last 8 games they played. Let's see how they match up with an actual DEFENSE!!!! I think a Patriots-Panthers game would be much more exciting as the Eagles shouldn't even be here as they just got lucky by some really stupid actions by the Packers!!!! Doug, Peabody This man has a very narrow opinion. The Patriots have won only 1 superbowl...bored to tears is his opinion. If this guy wants to watch a quarterback show...that is why we have the pro-bowl. Football is a guts and grime game not a show!!! Heidi, Rockland Those Indy hicks can say whatever they want. Like small children or chimpanzees, they're fascinated by flashy, shiny things. Only a true simpleton could find winning boring. Ed, Pittsburgh (formerly Boston) Bob Kravitz writes like a second-rate fashion critic. Paul, Hingham He's right on. The Pats offense is the same boring offense from the Browns of the late '80's - too many dump passes. They're the NHL equivalent of watching some team that wins with the neutral zone trap. This has no bearing on who I as a fan want to see make the Super Bowl, but you have to look at it from the perspective of a football fan whose team ios already out. Forget your team loyalties for a second and think what fans outside of NE, Indy, Philly, and Carolina want to see in a game. People always want to see fireworks from the offense. Dave, Boston Mr. Kravitz may indeed be teary-eyed, but it's not because he's tired of seeing the PATRIOTS in the superbowl. It's likely because he's "tired" of knowing his perpetually underachieving COLTS will fail again. I have been a PATRIOTS fan all of my life (Went to the first game they ever played in 1960) and also had the pleasure of watching Mr. Tony Dungy here in Tampa. There's a reason he's not still in Tampa, and I think Mr. Kravitz knows the answer. Tom, Tampa Florida The real SUPER BOWL is this Sunday and "Da Pats" are going to win! Kevin, Ilion, NY Hey, he's rooting for his home team - and there's nothing wrong with doing that. It won't happen, but he has every right to dream. After this weekend, it will be: Tom Brady 2 MVPs 0 Roland, Ashland Hey Bob, here's a tissue.......... Joe, Tyngsboro
