Pop superstar Janet Jackson lost her chest plate during her Super Bowl XXXVIII half time performance, giving football fans an unexpected peep show. It appeared as though singer Justin Timberlake ripped it off as part of the show, revealing Jackson's right breast with a silver star on it. Did someone go too far?

I do enjoy the show that is put on, but this year was simply aweful, none of the performers where great.... Instead of Aerosmith playing at the pregame they should have played at half-time.......But I have to say hats off to Beyonce... What a great performance of the national anthem..... That was one of the best versions I ever heard, she put her heart and soul into the performance... Great job Beyonce!!!!

Too far? Do you really have to ask that question? Too bad they didn't arrest Janet, Nelly and the rest of the scum for public indecency. That was by far the worst halftime show in the history of the super bowl and likely, ever. Totally classless. Hey Nelly, maybe someday you'll find whatever it was you were looking for.

Disgusting! The NFL made the Las Vegas Casinos cancel all Parties using the "Superbowl" name. However, they could not control the content of their broadcast and Halftime Show. This is a Blackeye to what was probably the best football game in Superbowl History.

It is dispicable that CBS, MTV, and the NFL stooped to such low levels in efforts to increase their ratings. (Viacom owns both CBS and MTV).

Perhaps CBS should institute the 7 second delay used in radio talk shows to prevent this type of fiasco from happening in the future? Then on the other hand this might have been carefully planned and orchestrated to happen on purpose for the shock factor.

Next year we will turn off the TV during Halftime Show and listen to the radio broadcast until the 3rd quarter kickoff.

It was very tasteless and unnecessary. Considering the Super Bowl is a 'family' presentation, why would you want to gear the programing to the MTV audience?

Just another thought....with her brother going through what he is, currently, her actions in this half time show is another example of the total disfunction of the talented family, the Jacksons.

Janet was our last hope for an intelligent Jackson. Too bad. But, as lowbrow as her stunt was, the guys were a lot worse. An average person of at least average intelligence would be sentenced to mandatory therapy if they couldn't stop grabbing themselves in public. But these guys? Not only do they get rich through MTV, they get invited to display themselves during a national sports event by what can only be a team of the lowest IQ television execs in history. YUCK.
