You know this whole thing was staged. Think about it. Year after year, people turn away from the Super Bowl halftime show to watch other networks or go throw up that Bean Dip they were washing down with gin.

Next year you make note to watch the Super Bowl halftime. Simply brilliant, huh?

Another hint that this was coming (aside from the fact that CBS was promising a "Surprise Guest" during the spectacular... who would have thought it would be a breast? That was way better than my guess of Madonna.) was during the coin toss. Do you remember who tossed the coin?

The only thing I am left with today, having missed this particular nip-synch performance, is the nagging thought that somehow Janet's other breast feels left out. I mean how would you feel if your twin had just become the most observed yabaho in the history of mankind?

Total waste. Not a lick of professionalism and not a representation of todays youth. People involved should be fined or severely reprimanded at the least for the demeaning to degrading debacle. Unfortunatel both the Patriots and Panthers will be tainted by association and that is not fair to either team. MTV has no right to subject us to such trash.

The half-time show last night was the worst one I have ever seen, however, we should expect no less from MTV. I am liberal, and open minded, but am sick of raunch. The Superbowl is viewed by families and the half-time entertainment should be geared toward that and the artists need to be respectful of it. We need more actual singers and less choreographed dance numbers. If people want to dance to perform, fine, but go to Broadway or join a Caberet act. Aerosmith should have been the half-time act and we would have actually had real singing, real talent, and less shock-value.

I'm no prude, but I wasnt expecting to see soft porn on a sporting event that is being watched in the family rooms with grandparents and grandchildren. Bring back high school marching bands (wouldnt those kids be thrilled?) instead of all this MTV crap-ola. The bumpin' and grindin' and i-wanna-get-you-in-bed stuff, I mean, c'mon, enough already - get back to the game and leave these lame celebrity-has-beens to bump-n-grind themselves to insanity away from my tv set - I dont need to see that when what I want to see is a quality game. Weren't no accident, honey, when you're wearin' a pasty!

The whole show was a tasteless display. There were millions of children watching! The Super Bowl is supposed to represent a slice of American Culture. If this is the best we can muster, we are in deep trouble.

It’s kind of sad how the game is almost an after thought now days. It’s all the corporate sponsors trying to appeal to the non-football fans, just so they can sell a couple of extra sodas or some crappy beer. I can’t stand all the hype surrounding the commercials and the half time show of no talents is a joke.
