Jackson bares breast during half time show
Pop superstar Janet Jackson lost her chest plate during her Super Bowl XXXVIII half time performance, giving football fans an unexpected peep show. It appeared as though singer Justin Timberlake ripped it off as part of the show, revealing Jackson's right breast with a silver star on it. Did someone go too far? Page 32 Who cares. It was for a split second. People need to get a life and worry about more important things. I think the half time show was great. We WON!!!!! that is all that matters. For all the people out there that is complaining, EASE UP WILL YOU, IT WON"T KILL YOU!! Don Sviatko, BOSTON She may not have wanted umpteen million people to see her nipple ornamentation, but, from the looks of it, she wanted someone to, probably later that night, if not backstage, quick.... Wade Smith, Cambridge, MA It shouldn't be a big deal to mature adults - everyone has seen a breast! For young kids watching, though, I hope there was an adult around to tell them the incident was an "accident" (whether it really was or not). Lynne, Lexington The half-time show was trash! Wouldn't it be refreshing to have entertainment without the constant sexual content? Gail, Readville I will never buy anything from AOL or McDonalds again. I hope Justin's career is over. Joe, Boston It was extremely distasteful and it was clearly planned. This was not the forum for this behavior and it is very disappointing in CBS and MTV. Laurie, Weymouth I find it somewhat ironic that a Super Bowl in which the game is elevated to a new high, the fanfare and halftime hoopla is dragged down to a new low. Jack, Arlington CBS should be punished...severely. No, not for the fact that a bare breast was apparently seen by millions; but for the fact that the half-time show was BORING. After the first minute of the show when I realized it wasn't going to get any better, I left the room to go read my e-mail. From the sound of it, I didn't miss anything. MA, Quincy Both were a disgrace and no one should buy their music. This real helps out Michael also. It shows you this Jackson family has problems and the public shouldn't spend another penny on them. Ed Richards, Centerville Pathetic... Room full of children and that crap gets passed off as legitimate entertainment? I wish we had changed the channel before the halftime show like we talked about...
