I think it ws pretty pathetic of Janet Jackson to pull that stunt. I still don't get why she was there in the first place. There is so many more talented people that would have done a much better job. I don't think they will be turning to MTV for next year's half time show!

The reality of the situation is that the Superbowl has become a family event. The violent commercials, violent language, crotch grabbing during half time along with the Janet-Justin stunt (which was just plain stupid), while they have their time and place, were all inappropriate for this venue. The marching band was the best part of the half time show. I'm not saying bring back Up With People but let's gear the show toward a wider range of ages and use some performers with actual talent.

I think we should be more concerned about dressing our young girls like hookers and exposing children to violence and sex on TV and in movies than about an adult bearing a breast. Americans are the biggest puritanical hypocrites in the world.

Accident? I think not. These pathetic pop performers will do anything for attention. And they've accomplished what they set out to do, everybody is talking about it. Didn't someone once say there's no such thing as bad publicity? Aside from Janet and Justin's bad behavior, since when is it acceptable to cut an American Flag and wear it as a pocho? The trend toward packing these half-time shows with a half dozen "artists" is ridiculous. Just pick one act and be done with it. The U2 show in 2002 was perfect.

I think CBS knew all along this was going to happen - they should be held accountable. It is a real shame that the best we can do for the greatest game on earth is "Janet Jackson " at half time. What has happened to this world.
