Pop superstar Janet Jackson lost her chest plate during her Super Bowl XXXVIII half time performance, giving football fans an unexpected peep show. It appeared as though singer Justin Timberlake ripped it off as part of the show, revealing Jackson's right breast with a silver star on it. Did someone go too far?

First off, GREAT GAME!!!

However, I am a young parent with a five-year old son who, while wearing his Patriots' shirt and hat, questioned what he saw during the half-time show. No, it won't mess him up for life, but we were watching a "superbowl", NOT the Grammys. No warning of nudity and violence. As for the people replying here who say "shame on parents", do you have children? If so, poor kids. It is obvious that this was not just a "naked breast". I'm sure all children have seen their mother's naked breast. What happened here was Justin grabbing her violently and exposing her. I'm not a prude. I occasionally watch MTV (without my children). I AM upset at what took place on CBS at halftime and I am NOT ashamed to admit it.

The lack of talent presented for the show was far more appalling than a pastied breast. My 6 year old said "it looked like a potato wearing a hat".

Pretty harmless I guess, compared to my son running around dancing grabbing his crotch like a rapper.

CBS refuses to air an ad by Moveon.org, saying it would be too controversial, and yet their half-time show features scantily clad women in bondage positions and a bare-breasted Janet Jackson.

I think the NFL should rethink the content of these shows. The pregame entertainment was much more tasteful than the junk at halftime.

Listen, CBS and the Media need to get it together. I don't see as much coverage on the streaker that came on after half time. How about the Panthers coach clearly using vile profanity was that a news headliner. Stop being sexist. If parents had impressionable children up at that time, well then they should have had them in bed. Janet Jackson had on a pasty and I have seen Lil Kim and Jennifer Lopez wear less. Get a life!!
