Pop superstar Janet Jackson lost her chest plate during her Super Bowl XXXVIII half time performance, giving football fans an unexpected peep show. It appeared as though singer Justin Timberlake ripped it off as part of the show, revealing Jackson's right breast with a silver star on it. Did someone go too far?

Well .... I think the half time show in general is gaudy and silly and in general have had nothing to say about it other than its too long.

But now we have Janet's breast to add to Brittney-Madonna's historic kiss .. it all seems like sexy fun to me ... No one was hurt, no one suffered and the act was less offensive than most of the rap-crap explotation of women on MTV.

Final analysis, it was just a breast. And a rather nice one at that. Let's laugh and move on.

I think it puts a fork in it--but I wish it didn't. I still would very much prefer A-Rod and Magglio than Manny and Nomar-some bridges are partially burned-maybe though ,just maybe, it will inspire Nomar to newer heights. Red Sox fans can only hope!

The Media should look back and review other captured moments and leave the Jacksons' alone.

The only way to stop such ill advised grossness on tv is to order the broadcasting stations to pay the maximum fine from each broadcast station - that is, each station in the nation that broadcast the event. Then, there will be proper security to cause such actions to be a part of history and not a part of any future show.

Was it tasteless? Yes it was (although I missed it, it happened so quick). But should we be surprised with what's on TV, in print and on the Internet today?? If people don't want to see or hear anything "offensive" today, maybe they should just stick to watching the History channel, Sesame street or crawl under a rock. I think it's more disturbing to listen to all the apologies. Give me a break. That's what sells today.

I feel the whole half-time show was disgusting. Maybe what made it even worse--if that is possible--was not only the contrast with the pre-game show, but the contrast with a fantastic game. The show dishonored not only the super bowl, but all the people watching it and the teams who were playing.

They should be held accountable by the FCC and fined HUGE amounts of money along with Janet Jackson and Justin Timberlake.

And what was up with Nelly and his need to continually hold his crotch? The whole half time show was a joke and each year has done nothing but gone down hill. How can you call this entertainment CBS? There's no excuse and I'll be sure to stop watching anything you put out on public TV.
