It appeared as though singer Justin Timberlake ripped it off as part of the show, revealing Jackson's right breast with a silver star on it. Did someone go too far?

I think it is absolutely ridiculous that a woman's breast being exposed is considered obscene. What is wrong with this FCC gentleman and his family values rhetoric?!!! Apologies!??What for? Let he who has no sins in his closet throw the first stone. Hypocrites!!! Even if it wasn't an accident as Timberlake claims, her breast exposed is not liscivious or pornographic. Perhaps if our culture was not so closed minded or everything exagerated and the fear of God put into our children's mind we could avoid bigger tragedies like Columbine. Who is apologizing for that???

Okay, luckily, I was cleaning up the chili bowls in the kitchen during halftime. But I agree with the person who said there should be talk about the game during halftime, and not the performances. It' should be treated as a football game first, not a over-hyped over the top yacky entertainment event.

Have you noticed the way the Super Bowl game is filmed, as opposed to regular season or play off games? NO replays, but all emoting close ups of players and coaches' faces. Give me some replays! This is a game , not a soap opera!

Yes. The whole soft porn show should not have been aired. It was nothing but a bunch of screaming, grinding, jigglilng behavior. Just what you want to teach the young of America. Be fast, cheap but oh so sexy!

What do you expect from MTV? It was utterly tasteless! Just like that Madonna and Britney kiss! Anything that will make the front headlines of entertainment news, artists will do nowadays even if makes them look cheap. It is really getting old. Viacom, come up with something more classy if you know what that means.

This stunt was clearly planned and rehearsed. Having worked in TV production, I can tell you that there's no way they could have cut away and killed all of the lights in the entire stadium that quickly without plenty of practice in advance.

CBS censored the Move On ad that criticized President Bush, and chose instead to flash some washed-up skin for ratings. Just like Coors, CBS is conservative politically, but will still stoop to cheap thrills if it means making a few bucks.

The sad part is that football and the superbowl is such a great sport and SPORTING event that they don't need second rate teenie bopper performers lipsinking to sexually explicit words and actions to make it a fun thing to watch. I'm not sure why they feel the need to squeeze in an entire rock concert in a 10 minute timeframe.

Oh ya - did anyone notice that Kid Rock wore an American flag as a shirt?? That is a defacement of our national symbol and I am sure our military personnel noticed the poor taste in his wardrobe.

Can we all please SNAP OUT OF IT & realize how completely irrelevant Janet Jackson's exposed breast is - how about putting this much interest/effort in the presidential campaign or let's say... the WAR we are losing soldiers to every day?!

Also, I'm wondering of all the people that were 'horrifed' have ever seen themselves naked, were breast-fed or have ever been to the Museum of Fine Arts?
